When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

On Saturday 10th September is the Milton Keynes Pride Festival

There will be stages, food village and Within our community area, we also have hand-picked community services that benefit the LGBTQ+ residents of MK such as information on mental health, sexual health, youth services or fostering. We hand pick some potential employers that are very inclusive in the hope that you may feel confident to enquire about a job at a later date. You will also find the generous sponsors within this area that put in the money to help the event go ahead.
