When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Enjoy playing chess or looking to learn? New members of all strengths and ages are welcome. The society has an ethos where stronger players are encouraged to help with informal coaching, which is available to all.

We are a friendly society who are looking to welcome back old and new members to get the society back up and running this year.

Join us to find out more and come early if you fancy a game of chess on the day, we will have chess boards available!
