We are social!

When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the university - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student at the University of Bedfordshire get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Societies Advice Events

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the university to make sure we represent different communities within the university.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

The society shall have the following aim:

The society will build a racing car to participate in the Formula Student UK competition at Silverstone in July of each year.

The society shall have the following objectives:

Seek out sponsorship opportunities.
Holding fundraising events throughout the year.
Improving the design of the previous team.
Submitting the required documentation for the car on the IMechE website.

The membership fee is non-refundable and this membership will expire on 31st July 2022
