We are social!

When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the university - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student at the University of Bedfordshire get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Societies Advice Events

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the university to make sure we represent different communities within the university.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Poles in Bedfordshire

Poles in Bedfordshire aims to promote Polish culture among the students of the University, supporting group members in their educational journey. A group open to all ethnic groups, everyone who would like to learn about the history, culture and customs of Poland will be welcome.

Our Society Objectives:

To provide a support network for all society members throughout their time at University and throughout their Educational journey.
Planning and promoting the society activities and events that allow us to express our aims.
Allow students to voice their opinions on how we as a society are working to meet their needs.

Free Student Membership for 2021/22

This membership will expire on 31st July 2022.
