Campus Rep Election 23/24

Do you want to create positive change on your campus and enhance your and other students' experiences? Well, why not stand to become a Campus Rep!

Every year, Beds SU offers students the opportunity to represent their own campus for the upcoming academic year within each of the following campuses:

• Luton (this post has been filled in our Election run in May)
  
• Bedford
  
• London Bridge
  
• Birmingham (this post has been filled in our Election run in May)
  
• Milton Keynes
  
• Aylesbury
  

Your role will be to get feedback from fellow students in the campus you are based in and feedback to the Students' Union, working on improving the campus experience. This may be by doing events, improving facilities, or working with other student groups, and working with this year's Executive Officers.

This year, we are also inviting our Campus Reps to be part of our panel of student experts that perform all-year round scrutiny of the Union’s processes. More details about this role can be found here.

The role is a volunteer role and looks great on your CV.

You will be fully supported by Beds SU during your term of office.

Deadline to self-nominate yourself is Wednesday 11th October at 4PM. You can only nominate for the campus you are based at (e.g., London Bridge student will only be able to stand for London Bridge Rep).

Students on your campus will then be able to choose the student they wish to represent them between Thursday 12th October (12PM) and Thursday 19th October (4PM).

To then self-nominate, you need to:

1. Log in to the website using your standard UoB login,

2. Click your profile name on the top right of the page,

3. Go to 'Election' dashboard,

4. Select 'Campus Rep Election 23/24',

5. Choose the campus you are based in and nominate yourself!

We will be using a Single Transferrable Voting system. Students will be able to select those relating to their individual campus (e.g., Luton student will only choose Luton Campus candidates).

This role is unpaid but reasonable expenses (e.g. train/bus tickets, parking, support with additional childcare needs) will be reimbursed.
