When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

As part of our Disability History Month activities please join us for this award winning film based on the life and work of Stephen Hawking.

Central to this biographical movie is Stephen's diagnosis of motor neurone disease (MND). The film charts Stephen's life from his time at Cambridge University, his diagnosis of motor neurone disease (MND) an his relationship with his wife Jane and his success in his studies of physics and cosmology.

Directed by James Marsh this romantic adaptation by Anthony McCarten of Jane Hawking, Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen. Starring Eddy Redmayne and Felicity Jones.
