When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

As part of our ongoing Black History Month celebrations, we are delighted to be showing the classic 2016 film, Hidden Figures.

The film tells the story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program and is based on a true story.

There will be free popcorn and soft drinks on the night!
