When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

This week we’re levelling up Toast Tuesday with a Shrove Tuesday twist. Join us in The Metro for a cosy Games Night packed with video games, board games, and all the chilled midweek energy you need.

🥞 Free pancakes (while they last!) 🍞 Free toast (because it wouldn’t be Toast Tuesday without it)

Whether you’re racing in Mario Kart, battling it out in Uno, or just here for the snacks and good company, there’s something for everyone. Come with friends or drop in solo — it’s all about fun, friendly competition, and a sweet midweek break.
