When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Come along and enjoy music and lots of colour in our Holi Festival of Colour.

The event is free for all UoB students and will take place outside the Post-Graduate building on the Luton Campus.

Attendees are advised to wear eye protection and clothing that they don't mind getting messy.

Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival which is celebrated yearly. Holi received the name “festival of colours” from Lord Krishan, who is a reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. His role is to return to the earth in troubled times and restore the balance of good and evil.
