Easter Holiday 2024: Opening and Closing Times

This article highlights when the SU and University are open/closed and where to go for support

Easter is just around the corner and we here at the SU want to wish you a lovely break and time with your friends and family.

We are aware that many of you will have work and deadlines to complete, as well as needing access to university services, so we have put together all the details you need below.

BEDS SU OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES

The Students’ Union will be closed from Thursday 28 March. We will re-open our services on Monday 8 April. This includes the support services we provide and our venues The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford.

The Metro in Luton will be open from 9am-2pm on the 25 – 27 of March before closure.

UNIVERSITY OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES

The University will be closed from Thursday 28 March and re-open on Wednesday 3 April. Please discuss with your lecturers whether they will be available during the Easter break.

UoB LIBRARY OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES
LUTON

Open 24/7 and staffed only security only.

BEDFORD

Open 8:30AM to Midnight and staffed by security only. Normal daytime staff will resume on Wednesday 3 April and Saturday staff will return Monday 15 April.

AYLESBURY

CLOSED for Easter break from Wednesday 28 March and normal opening and staffed hours will resume on Wednesday 3 April.

MILTON KEYNES

CLOSED for Easter break from Wednesday 3 March and normal opening and staffed hours will resume on Wednesday 3 April.

TREEHOUSE OPENING AND CLOSING TIMES

The Tree House in Luton will be closed from Thursday 28 March and will re-open Wednesday 3 April.
