When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Beds SU is delighted to announce the winners of this year's awards as nominated by students and staff here at UoB and shortlisted by a panel of students.

This year's Beds SU awards was a very special affair, because for the first time in TWO years we were able to come together, and celebrate in person.

We recieved a staggering 330 nominations from students and staff, wishing to recognise the great work of so many of our students and staff here at the University.

We had nominations for 47 individual students, 61 staff members and two societies.

Last Thursday, 12 May, we celebrated this year's winners and those who were also highly commended in an early evening ceremony at the Metro, Luton campus. It was truly wonderful to see so many people join us and celebrate each others achievements.
