We are delighted to announce that voting is officially underway in this year's Student Elections!
Voting in the election really matters and gives you the opportunity to have your student voice heard. Only UoB students get to decide who will become their next student leaders and we are going to introduce you to the candidates who are hoping to receive your votes. You also get to choose the key issues that you would like the elected team to work on. Be quick though, you only have until 12:00 on Friday 13 March to get your vote in.
Meet the candidates!
There are five positions available, with a number of candidates running for each of them. The positions are;
- 1 x Student Campaigns Lead [reserved for a student paying "Home" fees]
- 1 x Student Campaigns Lead [reserved for a student paying "International" fees]
- 1 x Student Champion - UBBS Faculty
- 1 x Student Champion - TESS Faculty
- 1 x Student Champion - HCLS Faculty
You will see in each section a reference to Re-Open Nominations. This option can be used if you don't want to vote for any of the candidates listed.

Now that you've had the chance to find out about all the candidates, it's time to vote. Voting is super easy and shouldn't take you any longer than 5 minutes.
Alongside voting for the candidates you will be given the option to vote for a series of Student Priorities, these are issues that you want to see those elected work on throughout their time in role.
And remember, you can change your vote right up until the close of voting if you change your mind!
There are also cash prizes totaling £500 up for grabs as a thank you for taking part and voting (1 x £100 and 4 x £50) plus on the spot prizes too! Winners will be drawn at random at the end of the elections (Terms & Conditions apply). What are you waiting for...get voting!
