This video is part of our ongoing Student Rights Campaign, aiming to empower students with the knowledge they need to advocate for themselves.
Whether you're navigating university with a disability, mental health condition, or other challenges, knowing your right to reasonable adjustments can make all the difference.
If you need reasonable adjustments:
1. Contact disability@beds.ac.uk AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
2. Or visit in person:
Bedford Campus: Come to P0.31a.
Luton Campus: Student Support is located behind SID, located on the second floor of the of the G block. If an advisor is available, they’ll come out to speak with you. If not, we’ll book you an appointment for another day.
3. Meet with an Advisor to set up a Learning & Teaching Support Agreement (LTSA).
Note: Learning and Teaching Support Agreements (LTSAs) must be submitted to the system at least six weeks before the start of the exam period.
