The week’s events kicked off with our Hollywood blockbuster film night showing the classic horror suspense film, The Amityville Horror staring Ryan Gosling.
Our Halloween special games nights in The Hub and Metro on Monday and Tuesday proved to be as popular as ever with the themed cakes and snacks not lasting very long!
Pumpin carving
Our regular Wednesday Wellness session gave students (and staff!) the chance to try their hand at pumpkin carving. The designs ranged from the classic scary faces, to aliens, words and logos.
Over 20 spectacular designs were created and showcased the artistic talents of students at the University. This was especially noteworthy as nearly all of our ‘carvers’ had never done it before!
Part Night!
Whilst Wednesday saw students in Bedford taking advantage of our deal with Cubana Nightclub, Thursday held the biggest party night of term so far with our Halloween Parties in Bedford and Luton. The Metro drew a sell out crowd of over 200 who enjoyed the usual Halloween themed drinks and the brilliant music from DJ Shane Lewin.
The costumes on show were fantastic and ranged from The Joker, Catwoman, various witches, Michael Myers, Scream and one of our favourites, Mystery Inc and Scooby Doo!
Have a look at our Flickr gallery from the Metro. All the brilliant pictures were taken by Baraa, our student photographer on the Beacon. Find out about the student opportunities in the Beacon.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in any of the events and made them so enjoyable.
