Welcome to the University of Bedfordshire! This resource is meant to help you get to know your campus and the surrounding area!

Your Campus

The University of Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes is located at Exchange House, Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes MK9 2UB. It is right across the street from Midsummer Place shopping centre, and a five-minute walk from The Centre:mk. With nearby amenities like iFly Indoor Skydiving and the Milton Keynes Theatre, there is always something to do when you are near campus. Amenities on-site include a library, computer lab, a common room with vending machines and a canteen.

Coffee Break

Pret a Manger

Address: 27-29 Eagle Walk Intu Shopping Centre, Milton Keynes MK9 3AJ

You can’t go wrong with Pret. For either a quick coffee break or a full takeaway lunch, Pret a Manger has your back, and the spacious patio of this location allows you to grab a table no matter how busy the mall is. Our favorite is the salmon and avocado flatbread wrap.

Bogota Coffee Company

Address: 4 Rillaton Walk, Milton Keynes MK9 2FZ
Save on Google Maps | View Website

If you’re up for a bit of a walk, Bogota Coffee Company is worth it. A seriously cozy café with a vintage feel, Bogota Coffee Company offers a range of specialty coffee drinks from lattes to French presses and everything in between. They also provide small plates for a light lunch – we recommend the tuna melt sandwich!

Carlo’s Coffee Bar

Address: 378a Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes MK9 2EA
Save on Google Maps | View Website

Although it is a little trick to find, Carlo’s Coffee Bar is meant to be seen. A small café with a passion for coffee, Carlo’s is the only coffee company in Milton Keynes that roasts its own beans. Never willing to sacrifice quality, you’ll get an excellent cup at Carlo’s no matter what you order.

Lunch

Made in Sud Pizza

Address: Midsummer Place, intu, Milton Keynes MK9 3GB
Save on Google Maps | View Website

It seems impossible that a humble food truck could provide some of the best pizza we’ve tasted outside of Naples, but it’s true. From the classic margherita to a more experimental aubergine parm pie, Made in Sud is an absolute must try. If you’re in Milton Keynes and hungry for some pizza, forget Pizza Hut and Pizza Express. Head straight to Made in Sud and dig into some of the best pizza in the country.

Las Iguanas

Address: The Hub, Milton Keynes MK9 2FB
Save on Google Maps | View Website

A vibey Latin-American chain, Las Iguanas offers a quality casual dining experience not too far from campus. With a focus on tapas dishes and Latin American staples such as enchiladas and burritos, there’s something for everyone here. Their happy hour is a two-for-one on coctails as well, so this might be the spot for a cheeky happy hour after class. They also have a range of mocktails.

Kokoro MK

Address: Unit 18, Midsummer Place Shopping Centre, 86-88 Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes MK9 3GB

A Korean Japanese takeaway, Kokoro focuses on providing hearty soups and scrumptious sushi with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and environmentally conscious packaging. A favorite in Milton Keynes, Kokoro often has long queues, so make sure you give yourself ample time if you want to sample the dishes here.
