When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

LGBT+ History Month Celebration Evening

The ever popular Sandy Flaps makes a dazzling return for an evening dedicated to LGBT+ history! Not only do we have Bingo and Disco returning, but this year we're going bigger with a panel event too!

From 5:30pm, expect to see a Q&A panel session with special guest speakers.

Every student that enters will be added to the raffle to win the grand prize during the event. So get there early!

Don't miss out! Come by the Metro Wednesday evening for an educational and entertaining night dedicated to the celebration of LGBT+ History!
