When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Hosted by your Co-President Seyi Lowo - Black Excellence Showcase – is going to be an unforgettable celebration of culture, talent, and community in honor of Black History Month!

Here’s what we’ve got lined up for you:

• The Best African and Caribbean Cuisine: Indulge in delicious African Napa cuisine and more – trust me, you don’t want to miss these flavours!

• Meet Local Black Businesses: Come support and explore some incredible Black-owned businesses.

• DJ Sweets on Deck: Bringing you all the hottest bangers!

• Afrobeats Dance Performance: Fauna and Rebecca will be bringing the house down with their amazing Afrobeats moves.

• Educational Section: We’ll have an educational space to dive deeper into Black history and culture.

• Jollof war { Ghana Versus & Nigeria)
