When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Join us for our lunchtime meetups designed especially for EU and International Foundation Year students. 

Discover how  we’re  working to relaunch the EU and International Students Foundation Year Society, with relaxed workshop sessions to help you find your feet during your first year. 

Enjoy free refreshments and biscuits while you get to know others and something new for yourself.  We’re a welcoming group, and there’s always someone around to support you as we work through the workshop series!
