When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

A sponsored sleepout, raising funds for two Luton based charities. Event takes place in the car park at Signposts Charity HQ.

Games, snacks and hot drinks provided. Prize for the best camp.

No tents/camping gear allowed!

Signposts Homelessness charity covering Luton and Dunstable. Supporting those who have are homeless or do not have housing that meets their needs.

Transitions UK, a vulnerable young people’s charity, supporting those at risk from criminal exploitation, those who have/or at risk of offending, those with mental health and emotional wellbeing needs, those in the Care System and those with mild-moderate special needs looking for paid employment.
