We are social!

When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

This petition was ratified by Union Parliament in January 2020. A copy of the proposal is attached here. This feed will be updated to demonstrate progress made in the next two years as well as any decision to renew, lapse, or review the policy from there onwards.

The Sabbatical Team has discussed and reached to the conclusion that the elements of this policy were out of date, which undermined the whole.
They have decided to allow the policy to lapse and Chidinma, Co-President, to develop a new policy with support from staff.
