#NUSDecoloniseEducation
The first year of the campaign focused on building a widespread accurate understanding of decolonisation, racism and the need for a fundamental restructure of power.
Knowledge is the foundation for action. To achieve this, last year, we launched the Decolonisers' Library, the Decolonisers' Festival and the Decolonisers' Network.
This academic year, we want to work with SUs, SAs and activists to break education’s links with private companies responsible for upholding colonialism and imperialism.
Education should not exist to make profit full stop. And it absolutely shouldn’t be contributing to flooding, droughts, rising disease, conflict and war across the world.
