When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

AfroBeats hits the Hub in style

AfroBeats at the Hub proves to be a roaring success.

After feedback from our students both in Bedford and across all of our campuses we were delighted to put on an AfroBeats night at the Hub in Bedford on Thursday 9 March.

DJ Holy was manning the decks and played some of the biggest Urban hits to keep the 120 students in attendance partying until the early hours.

The night was filled with music from Afrobeats to Hip Hop, R&B, Bashment and much more.

We were of course on hand to take pictures of the event and these can be seen in our Flickr gallery below and in our Facebook album.
