When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Beds SU offers students at any stage of their university adventure opportunities to apply for a number of paid positions each year. These roles are based in our two SU buildings on the Luton and Bedford campuses offering front of house and Student Union café /bar opportunities.

These roles offer you a chance to take on a paid position that works around your studies and other commitments.

We currently have a number of student staff positions available. Applications are required by 9am, Monday 18 August.
