When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Food First visit campus

As part of ‘Make A Difference Day’ Beds SU are delighted to welcome Food First back to campus.

During Freshers' Week we had lots of feedback from students who suggested alongside the offer of food, other cooking items and utensils would be extremely useful.

In response to this and in conjunction with the team at Food First, we've been working hard to make this happen! Come down to the Mezzanine area, outside the Metro between 12 – 2pm on Monday 30 October and pick up a starter kit.

Please note that this will be on a first come first served basis. (These packs are made up with items gathered from charity shops).

Beds SU Sustainability Champion Nat Falacinska said,"We are delighted that Food First have agreed to help our students. Not only will it help students during very challenging times, recycling is also at the heart of the Beds SU sustainability agenda.".
