When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

After a busy break we are delighted to say the SU is open and available through our usual hours.

The Metro, Luton

The Metro is currently open from 9am – 2pm but will be open from 9am - 6pm from the week commencing 23rd January. Regular and new events will commence from week commencing 23, January too.

The Hub, Bedford

The Hub reopened on 9, January, with weekly favourite events restarting.

Away from the university there are a number of national charities offering support including:
