We are social!

When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Apprenticeship Society

The aim of this society is to cater to apprentices of all levels and across all courses, to give you a space to network with like minded people, make new friends and have fun social event to look forward to!

Doing an apprenticeship can be very busy alongside working full time and apprentices can miss out on the important social aspect of the university experience.

We want to support apprenticeship students and online only apprenticeship students to feel they are part of the university including the social aspect of university. Meetings would be as inclusive as possible and watch out for our online discord chat room (coming soon!) where you will be able to connect with others and chat live 24/7, or leave messages.
