When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Hello and a warm welcome from all of us here at Beds SU, your Students’ Union. We’re delighted to say that on joining the University you automatically become a member of our SU community too, for FREE! We are here from your first to your last day at the University to offer advice, support, an opportunity for you to have your voice heard and to ensure you have fun, try new things, deepen your passions for hobbies and interests and meet wonderful new friends.

How we can help

We are here to help! The SU works independently from the University and offers FREE, impartial and confidential advice on a variety of matters from finance, mental well-being, housing, academic disputes and student complaints.
