The chairperson shall be the principal officer and spokesperson for the society and the chairperson of meetings of the Committee, AGM and EGM. The Chairperson shall attend meetings of the Societies’ Council and the Beds Students’ Union AGM as a representative of the society. They shall have overall responsibility for the promotion and development of the society. They shall be a signatory for release of payments from society funds.
