When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Whether you're an experienced fibre crafter or just curious to try something new, come and unwind in The Snug with fellow students for a relaxing session of knitting and crocheting.

Beginners are warmly welcome—no experience needed! We’ll provide all the materials to get you started, and there’ll be friendly faces on hand to guide you through the basics.

Drop in, get creative, and enjoy some mindful crafting in good company.
