When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Midwifery Society - Crochet Club

Join our Crochet Club with the Midwifery Society! Together, we’ll be crocheting tiny hats to be donated to local neonatal wards, supporting premature and new born babies during their earliest days of life.

This event is a lovely opportunity to meet other midwifery students, whether you’re new to the course or further along in your studies. Open to all skill levels, you can learn crochet basics (from your fantastic staff team!) or practise existing skills while chatting and building friendships.

All materials will be provided, and guidance will be available throughout the session. Whether you come to crochet, socialise, or take a gentle break from studies, join us for this lovely event. Feel free to bring your own craft too! FREE refreshments will be provided.
