These ideals are now being voted on by Union Parliament members.
Voting wil close on the 25th October, pop back here to find out the outcome after that date.
Policy Ideals are the SU's way of setting out what our beliefs are and the ideal situation students want us to be working towards. For this round of Union Parliament, we have two SU Ideals for consultation; Creating Safe Campuses & Lecture Recording. Read the proposal below and attend our policy consultation on the 21st of September (15.00) to discuss the proposal or leave comments using our online form before 17.00 on the 24th of September.
Creating Safe Campuses
Beds SU believes that all University of Bedfordshire campuses should be safe places for all students, free from sexual abuse and the University should actively try to reduce rape culture on campus.
Read the full proposal then leave any comments online or attended our policy ideals consultation.
Lecture Recordings
Beds SU believes that students should have access to both online and in class learning, allowing for flexibility in their learning to accommodate their individual needs.

What Happens Next?
From the 25th to 27th of September Union Parliament Members will be asked to decide on whether they think the SU Ideal (with any changes made considering your comments) should be implemented or not, check back here for an update on the outcome.
