We are aware that many of you will have work and deadlines to complete, as well as needing access to University services, so we have put together all the details you need below.
Beds SU
We will be closing our offices at 16:00 on Tuesday 31 March and reopening on Monday 13 April at 09:00. This includes the support services we provide. If you need support during this time please see the links to external support agencies at the bottom of this article.
The Metro Bar and Kitchen, Luton will close at 14:00 on Tuesday 31 March and reopen on Monday 13 April at 09:00.
The Hub, Bedford will be closed from Tuesday 31 March and reopen W/C 13 April.
Our website Get Help button will be changing. If you need help during the closure time please see one of the below external support agencies.

The University of Bedfordshire
The University closes at 17:00 on Wednesday 1 April and reopens on Wednesday 8 April. All Campuses will be shut throughout this period.
Library Easter opening times
Luton
From Thursday 2 April to Tuesday 7 April 2026, 24/7. Staffed by security only.
Normal opening and staffed hours resume on Wednesday 9 April 2026
Bedford
From Thursday 2 April to Tuesday 7 April 2026. 8.30 - 10.00 Staffed by security only.

Tree House in Luton and Bedford
The Tree Houses will be closed from 2 April 2026. Luton Tree House will reopen on Thursday 9 April and Bedford will open on Wednesday 8th April.

Please note that in the UK, Good Friday and Easter Monday, 3 and 6 April are public holidays and most supermarkets and other non-essential services will be closed.
