Loredana Ancutei our Faculty Officer for HSS welcomed visitors to her stand and spoke to them about their mental health and ways it can be improved.

There was the opportunity for everyone to add leaves to the mental health tree and share thoughts, encouraging messages and words of advice. Loredana was also joined by Benedicta Ekwoh Mbum, Faculty Officer for UBBS and staff from our very own Beds SU Advice team.

Speaking about the day, Kayleigh Ware, Service and Information Manager at Beds SU said,

'It was a great opportunity for our student representatives to engage with students on such an important topic. Mental health is vitally important and can affect people in positive and negative ways. A huge thank you to Loredana for championing the day and bringing the topic to life.'

If you are struggling with your mental health, support is available from Beds SU and the University. You can contact us on help@bedssu.co.uk or joining one of our confidential drop-in sessions
