Please Note: In order to be eligible for these roles, you must have been a registered student at the University of Bedfordshire (UoB) at the close of registration on 25 November 2024 AND on 17 March 2025 when voting closes.

Student Campaigns Lead

£24,418 annual salary | Full-Time | Offices on Luton and Bedford Campus

The Student Campaigns Lead positions are open to all University of Bedfordshire (UoB) students, in any year of study. If elected, you will be required to take a year out from your studies but you can also take on this position if you are about to graduate. In return, you will have a unique chance to take on a full-time, paid job (£24,418 pa), right at the heart of Beds SU. 

The two Student Campaigns Lead positions play a critical role in gathering student feedback on the issues and ideas that matter to them, raising awareness amongst the wider student body and presenting them to leading figures within the University, including the Vice-Chancellor, to push for change.

These roles were formerly known as Co-President positions.

Student Champion (Faculty) Roles

£12.69 per hour | Part-Time (12-18 hours per week) | Offices on Luton and Bedford Campus

There are four part-time roles available, one in each of our four faculties. The positions are open to all University of Bedfordshire students, in any year of study and you carry out the role alongside your studies. It's a unique chance to take on a position right at the heart of Beds SU working with your Faculty. 

The four part-time roles will play a critical role in gathering student feedback on the issues and ideas that matter to them and the Faculty, presenting them to leading figures within the Faculty to advocate for change.

These roles were formerly known as Part-time Faculty Officers.

> 19 Feb 2025, 10:00 – Applications DEADLINE
Applications must be submitted by this date & time 

> 7 March 2025, 10:00 – Voting Opens
Voting for all positions opens and campaigning begins

> 17 March 2025, 10:00 – Voting Closes
Campaigning comes to an end and voting closes. The count begins shortly afterwards. 

> 19 March 2025 – Results Announced
Once the votes are counted and verified, the winners are announced.
