When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Join us for our next FREE SwD community event!

Enjoy FREE toast, FREE sweet treats, and FREE tea and coffee throughout the event. You can dip into crafting activities, join in with games, or simply chat and unwind in a friendly space.

We’re also offering access to a VIP table at Games Night, giving you a designated space to enjoy some board games.

When: Tuesday 27th January 2026, 3.30pm - 5pm

Where: The Snug (opposite the Metro) Luton Campus.
