When you join the University of Bedfordshire, you don't just join the University - you also become a member of Bedfordshire Students' Union (Beds SU)!

We are here to help every student get the most out of their university experience. We campaign on issues that you care about, as well as provide lots of opportunities for you to meet new people, develop your skills, campaign for change and try something new!

Advice

In order to make sure your voice is heard throughout the year we rely on student representatives.

We have elected student representatives for different communities within the University to make sure we represent everyone.

You can become a student leader for any of the communities you are a part of.

Beds SU has two fantastic venues available – The Metro in Luton and The Hub in Bedford. Both venues were recently refurbished in a modern, rustic style.

Take a break from placements, assignments, and the general whirlwind of student life. The Midwifery Meet-Up is a relaxed space to unwind, connect with your cohort, and enjoy some well earned downtime together.

Settle in for good conversation, a supportive atmosphere, and—yes—FREE pizza. Whether you’re in the mood to chat, laugh, vent, or simply sit with people who get it, this is your chance to pause and recharge.

Come as you are. Stay as long as you like. Leave feeling a little lighter.
